SPECIALITY POPULATIONS:

First Responder, Military & Law Enforcement

Dr. Rogers specializes in providing therapy services for First Responders (i.e., Military, Law Enforcement professionals, Emergency Medical Service professionals, other). Understanding the unique challenges and stresses faced by these individuals, her practice focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth.

Dr. Rogers is VA certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, a 13 to 15-week evidence-based therapeutic approach designed to treat trauma experiences. This structured program helps individuals understand and reframe their thoughts related to traumatic events, ultimately fostering healing and resilience. Through CPT, Dr. Rogers provides a compassionate and supportive environment that empowers clients to process their trauma and develop healthier coping mechanisms. This effective treatment is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, guiding them on their journey toward recovery.

Therapy is essential for this group, as it helps address the psychological toll of their demanding roles, promotes resilience, and fosters mental well-being. By offering tailored support, Dr. Rogers aims to help these heroes navigate their experiences, build coping strategies, and enhance their overall quality of life. Your mental health matters—let’s work together to prioritize it.

Men

Dr. Rogers specializes in providing therapy for men, recognizing the unique challenges they face in expressing emotions and seeking help. Her approach is tailored to address the societal pressures and stigmas that often prevent men from engaging in mental health discussions. Through compassionate and supportive therapy, Dr. Rogers creates a safe space for men to explore their feelings, confront issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress, and develop healthier coping strategies. By focusing on the specific needs of men, she aims to promote emotional well-being and encourage open dialogue about mental health, ultimately fostering personal growth and resilience.

Children

Dr. Rogers specializes in therapy for children, adolescents, and pre-adults aged 7 to 18, utilizing approaches like play therapy and skill-based group therapy. Understanding that young individuals often express themselves differently, she incorporates play therapy to create a safe and engaging environment for exploration and healing. Through this approach, children can communicate their feelings and experiences in a relatable way.

In addition, Dr. Rogers offers skill-based group therapy, where young people can learn essential coping skills, build resilience, and foster social connections with peers. This group setting not only encourages teamwork and collaboration but also helps participants understand that they are not alone in their challenges.
